Buckhorn Gold Project

The Buckhorn Project is a largely grass roots exploration target although it is believed that an exploration adit with limited historical production exists on the property. The project area is located 36 miles south of Salmon, Idaho in parts of Sections 15, 22, and 23, T25N, R17E, Lemhi County, Idaho.

The property consists of twenty federal lode claims located on BLM and US Forest Service land. M3 Resources LLC, controls the mineralized lands with 20 unpatented mining claims (MS 1-MS 20). An LOI is in effect between Otis and M3 with $20,000 due to M3 in August 2009 and a $50,000 work commitment in 2009. A sliding scale 2-4% NSR is reserved based on the price of silver.

The exploration target is base and precious metal targets with Leadville-type manto replacement in limestone units. A gold-rich intrusive occurs on the property. A magnetic survey was performed in 2008 with targets developed (possible intrusive porphyry at depth).

There are several shallow drill holes that were drilled in the 1970's that are generally less than 40 ft in depth. One hole, drilled by Sunshine Mining, reportedly intercepted 40'@12 opt Ag. Twelve-hundred feet (1,200') of underground workings exist on the property. Numerous trenches, dozer cuts and prospect pits on surface gossan shows. Property was investigated by the U.S. Bureau of Mines in 1952-1955.

The target is controlled by a pronounced range front fault dipping 40-60 degrees into the valley that juxtaposes Mississippian Scott Peak Limestone with the mesoproterozoic Gunsight Quartzite. Along the thrust contact are abundant gossan shows which have been developed by numerous dozer cuts, trenches, and prospect pits. The mineralized zone, occupying the fault, was intersected 612 feet from the Buckhorn portal where it cut 30 plus feet of silver, lead, and zinc-rich gossanous "vein". Copper-mineralized Tertiary intrusive stocks have been mapped along this range front fault. There are small stocks on the property and a copper-gold intrusive stock may occur along the range front fault.

Several shallow blast-type air rotary holes were drilled historically by various companies and individuals. No resource has been defined.

Three exploration target types exist: 1) Leadville silver-lead-zinc manto replacements in Mississippian limestone; 2) porphyry system at depth; 3) gold in marbleized limestone.

The property is located 2.6 miles off Idaho State Highway 28. The site is 2.5 miles from the Lemhi River and the nearest 3 phase electric power is 2.4 miles away. Work force could be located out of Salmon-Leadore, ID.
